Wrewards VIP Travel Campaign
Terms & Conditions
1. WRewards VIP Travel Campaign (the “Campaign”) is operated by Woolworths (Pty)
Ltd (reg. number: 1956/000518/07)(“Woolworths”) a company incorporated in the
Republic of South Africa and having its registered address at Woolworths House, 93
Longmarket Street, Cape Town, 8000. This campaign is conducted in association with
Emirates Airlines (“Emirates”).
2. The participants acknowledges that by submitting her or his entry and/or participating in the Campaign, s/he has been given an appropriate opportunity to first read these terms and conditions before participating and that s/he understands and agrees to the terms and conditions.
3. All participants participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these terms and conditions, the participants gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds Woolworths harmless (and its associates); its directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in this Campaign and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of any indemnified party.
4. The Campaign commences on Tuesday 18 June 2019(CAT) and ends on Thursday 30 April 2020
5. Woolworths reserves the right to cancel the Campaign and/or change the terms and conditions at any given time.
6. In order to be able to participate in this Campaign, participants must:
6.1. be over 18 years old and a resident of South Africa;
6.2. be WRewards VIP Member/s (a WRewards VIP Member is any valid WRewards customer who as at the date of their participation in this Campaign has spent R30.000.00 (thirty thousand rand) or more at Woolworths Stores between the following periods: 1 July 2018 – 30 April 2020).
6.3. register to participation by completing an online form located at https://www.wwtravelreg.co.za/ and accepting the corresponding terms and conditions; and
6.4. Must comply with the Campaign by submitting the details as requested. Entries will be considered incomplete and thus disqualified if the entrant does not provide all requested information, including an ID number.
7. The Campaign affords WRewards VIP Member/s who elect to participate a discounts of 40% off the base fares of Emirates Airlines Qualifying Classes travel tickets applicable to only 40 designated destinations worldwide (the “Discount”). The Discount offered is as set out below:

9. The Discount is valid for travel originating from, and tickets issued in, South Africa only.
10. The tickets booked via this Campaign are subject to Emirate terms and conditions located at www.emirates.com.
11. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Campaign the WRewards VIP Member/s can book for as many friends and family, and as many times during the Campaign (and within the validity of the tickets issued). These friends and family members may not necessarily be WRewards VIP Member/s or WRewards members. However, a maximum of 9 tickets can be booked at one time based on availability.
12. Should at any given time during the Campaign, the participant lose their WRewards VIP Member status, any pre-existing booking that were made will be seen through and any future booking will not be considered until such time that the participants becomes a WRewards VIP Member/s.
13. The Discount is only applicable to Emirates fares originating from South Africa.
14. The Discount is only applicable on a 4-sector ticket and does not include multi-cities.
15. It is important to note that the email address provided when registering to participate in this Campaign will be used to validate the discount. Therefore, the discount will only be able to be attributed to your booking if the same email address is used.
16. GENERAL TERMS:
16.1. The Participants must book their flights with Emirates before the closing date of this Campaign and travel within the validity of the ticket.
16.2. This discount does not apply to tickets booked through an external agent.
16.3. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, may not be sold for cash or traded. Also, the routing may not be changed after the ticket is issued.
16.4. Please note accommodation, transfers, visas or insurances or medical insurances or car hire are NOT included in this Campaign.
16.5. Save as provided for by Emirates, the participants must arrange their own transport related to their travels, these tickets and travels are used by the participants at their own risk.
16.6. Woolworths is not responsible for any travel insurance or medical assurances required for the travel. Therefore, by participating, you indemnify Woolworths and its associates of any travel insurance or medical insurance claims during the travels contemplated or secured through this Campaign.
16.7. Woolworths will treat your information, including personal information, in total confidence and will only share your information with our affiliates, investors, alliance partners and agents and will not sell, share or rent this information to any other third-parties. Therefore, by participating in this Campaign you consent to Woolworth collecting and providing your personal information to third parties for the purposes of administering the Discount.
16.8. As our travel ticketing partner is based on the UAE, by participating in this Campaign you also consent to your data bring processed and/or stored outside of South Africa.
16.9. Child (person between the ages of 24 months and 11 years and 11 months) and infant (0 to 23 months) discounts apply and must be booked in the same cabin and booking classes as the accompanying adults. Infants younger than two at the time of departure, who occupy a seat, will pay the applicable child fare for the journey travelled.
16.10. No airfare or ticket price is guaranteed until the booking and payment is completed.
16.11. Additional fees may be added in when changing or cancelling a flight.
16.12. The Campaign is open to everyone, including directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Woolworths (Pty) Ltd, Woolworths Financial Services (Pty) Ltd, Country Road Ventures (Pty) Ltd, Virtual Market Place (Pty) Ltd and any of their holding, subsidiary or associated companies, their marketing service providers in respect of the promotional competition, and the family members of such directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants who are VIP WRewards Members.
16.13. Woolworths collects and uses personal information about participants to unlock the Discount and comply with audit requirements in terms of the Consumer Protection Act and to determine the participants. Woolworths may use the participant’s name and/or images in marketing material, which may include publication of the participant’s name and/or images on www.woolworths.co.za/todaywithwoolies and the Woolworths social media pages, but the participates will always be informed of this beforehand and will be given an opportunity to refuse to permit any use of their names and/or images. 16.14. By participating in this Campaign, the participants agrees to indemnify Woolworths (and its associated) and release and hold Woolworths harmless against any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with this Campaign or resulting from acceptance and participation in this Campaign including without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage, loss of income and claims based on defamation or invasion of privacy.
16.15. Any reference to Woolworths in terms and conditions shall be deemed to include a reference to Woolworths (Pty) Ltd and Woolworths Financial Services (Pty) Ltd and any of their holdings, associated or affiliated companies and subsidiaries.
